The French Bulldog, or “Frenchie,” is a small, muscular, and compact companion dog, characterized by its distinctive large, erect “bat ears” and a short, brachycephalic snout. Typically weighing under 28 pounds, they have a smooth, short coat in brindle, fawn, or white.
