The Mini Bernese Mountain Dog (often called a “Bernalier” or “Mini Berner”) is a designer crossbreed created by mixing a full-sized Bernese Mountain Dog with a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (and sometimes a touch of Poodle or Sheltie). Weighing between 25 and 50 pounds and standing 12 to 20 inches tall, this smaller companion retains the iconic tri-color coat and gentle personality of a standard Berner in a much more adaptable size.
