A big breed with an even bigger heart, the Great Dane is a large and lovable dog that brings happiness and unconditional love to its human friends. These gentle giants have a calm and sweet temperament, and get along well with other dogs, pets, and humans. They are eager to please, and love to be loved! In adulthood the Dane can range from 100 to 200 pounds and is seen in the beautiful coat colors of harlequin, mantle, blue merle, and fawn. Great Danes do require quite a bit of space, so homes with a yard may be best for your new friend.
