If you are looking for a perfect puppy and a furry friend, consider choosing the mini poodle.
Miniature poodles are considered peace loving dogs and are known to be nice to children, other dogs and other pets. This dog breed is recommended for families with children as they can flourish through hugs and play time. They are also best suited to calm homes with adults. The mini poodle has the same traits of the standard poodle, just in a smaller package. It’s also one of the most popular dog breeds. They have a hypoallergenic coat which is excellent for individuals who suffer from allergies.
The miniature poodle is highly intelligent and loyal. They’re smart and devoted to their owners, thriving on attention and usually responding well to training. They are confident, cheerful and have a sensitive nature. They are also protective and can be suspicious of strangers coming into your home. They tend to bark to alert you of any strangers coming to the house. You can consider them as good watchdogs, however, they are more friendly.
Mini poodles also make excellent therapy and companion dogs.
Mini poodles are highly adaptable. They can do well in any type of family and home. They can do well in most climates, however, just like any dog breeds, they are sensitive to extreme heat and cold.
They are affectionate dogs and love being around people and may not handle being alone well.
Miniature poodles are a healthy dog breed. Like any dog breed, there are health conditions that can be passed on from parents. Some of the common health conditions are epilepsy, eye disorders, patellar luxation, hip dysplasia, von Willebrand’s disease and Legg-Calve-Perthes.

They require an ample amount of exercise every day. You can do two 30-minutes sessions for your puppy.
Full-coated mini poodles must be brushed right to the skin daily to avoid matting at the roots; this is because when a poodle sheds, their hair does not fall but instead gets trapped in the adjoining hair. Most owners keep the dense, water-resistant hair short for easier upkeep and take their mini poodles for professional grooming every four to six months. All poodle breeds shed very little and have low-allergen coats.
Miniature poodles are a good fit for dog owners with any experience level since they are smart and can be easily trained. They tend to be sensitive to moods and tone of voice. They also respond well to positive reinforcement and consistent training with rewards.
They usually grow between 10 and 15 inches high and weigh between 10 and 15 pounds as adults.
The average length of age for a mini poodle is around 10 to 18 years.
The poodle originated from Germany but is well-loved by France and is their national dog.
